活動簡介

為了建立「演算法角度的機器學習」的國際級研究團隊，劉智弘博士的團隊在前兩年內，
進行了6 次移地研究，接待9 人次學者訪問，且參與4 次國際會議。上述國際學術交流整
理如下：
 人員來訪：
 蘇黎世聯邦理工學院David Steurer 教授和3 位博士生Tommaso d’Orsi、Gleb
Novikov 和Jingqiu Ding 相繼來訪。
 瑞士義語區大學的Evanthia Papadopoulou 教授來訪。
 浦項工科大學Hee-Kap Ahn 教授來訪。
 香港科技大學Siu-Wing Cheng 教授來訪。
 卡內基美隆大學博士生Jun-Ting Hsieh 兩次來訪。
 移地研究
 於2023 年和2024 年，劉智弘教授5 次前往蘇黎世聯邦理工學院，進行「演算法
角度的機器學習」領域的合作研究。
 於2023 年7 月，劉智弘教授受邀至泰國參加第23 屆韓國計算幾何工作坊
(Korean Workshop on Computational Geometry)
 國際會議
 於2022 年12 月，劉智弘教授參加於韓國首爾舉行的第33 屆International
Symposium on Algorithms and Computation (ISAAC 2022)。
 於2023 年3 月，參加於德國漢堡舉行的第40 屆International Symposium on
Theoretical Aspects of Computer Science (STACS 2023)。
 於2023 年12 月，劉智弘教授參加於日本京都舉行的第34 屆International
Symposium on Algorithms and Computation (ISAAC 2023)。
 於2024 年5 月，劉智弘教授參加於日本大阪舉行的第15 屆Annual Meeting of
the Asian Association for Algorithms and Computation (AAAC 2024)
劉智弘教授的研究進展整理如下：
 發表了兩篇國際會議論文:
 “Approximate Selection with Unreliable Comparisons in Optimal Expected Time” in
Proceedings of the 40th International Symposium on Theoretical Aspects of Computer
Science (STACS 2023)。
 “Private graphon estimation via sum-of-squares” in Proceedings of the 56th ACM
Symposium on Theory of Computing (STOC 2024)。
 正投稿兩篇國際期刊和一篇國際會議。
 兩個正在進行的研究專題。
