Introduction to the event

We discussed how to observe the charge density wave (CDW) and associated pair density wave (PDW) in cuprate using RIXS.

The effort on CDW and the associated PWD in cuprate has been going on for a while. One of the achievements is the elucidation of quantum critical fluctuations associated with charge order in cuprate superconductors by RIXS and which was published in a high impact journal Phy. Rev. X: Phys. Rev. X 11, 041038 (2021). For this year, we obtained new data in different dopings, which were discussed in this meeting.
