Introduction to the event

Prof. Shao-Hua Sun’s research aims to build an interpretable and generalizable robot learning framework for robots to acquire long-horizon and complex skills. Through this framework, he aims to enable robots to acquire complex skills. In the long term, Professor Sun’s research will advance Taiwan’s automation technologies. On the one hand, it will reduce the effort the public spends on tedious daily tasks, thereby enhancing convenience in everyday life; on the other hand, it will increase the degree of automation in industrial production lines, improving manufacturing efficiency. Together, these outcomes will foster an environment more conducive to innovation and research. Prof. Sun was awarded Ta-You Wu Memorial Award and NSTC 2030 Cross-Generation Young Scholars Program (Research Project for Emerging Young Scholars) by the National Science and Technology Council.
