Introduction to the event

We have discovered that the glycolytic enzyme PGK1 plays an important role in intracellular protein transport, and this non-canonical function is independent of its metabolic activity. These findings were presented at the annual meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB annual meeting). Two of our Ph.D. students, Shao-Ling Chu and Jia-Rong Huang, also presented their respective breakthrough results at the conference, engaging in in-depth discussions and communicating with international scholars and experts for gaining their critical comments. We are so grateful to have the chance to join the conference for receiving valuable scientific insights and potential collaboration opportunities.
