Introduction to the event

The research aim of Dr. Wu’s laboratory is to synthesize new organic materials for organic semiconductor optoelectronic devices. There are a total of 13 graduate students in the laboratory, 11 in the master's class and 2 in the doctoral class.

Publications are three articles in international journals this year, and Dr. Wu are corresponding authors. One of the works is published on Chemical Science in 2022. The content is about the development of a diboron-compound design to generate high-performance nondoped OLED, and a 1-nm-thick emitting layer device was achieved. The recently accepted article was accepted by ACS Materials Letters. Through years of experience in developing the diboron molecular structure, a novel multi-functional material has been designed and synthesized. It contains high molecular stability and can be applied to a variety of OLED devices.

Dr. Wu opened a course " Special Topics in Applied Chemistry " at NTHU in the 111 academic year. This course invited lecturers from domestic chemistry-related industries to share their research and work. Students in this class can learn the current trends of chemistry-related industries and career planning directions before graduation.
