Introduction to the event

In a NSTC-sponsored project entitled“cutting of blood clots to enable the minimally invasive recanalization of vascular occlusions” a consortium leading by National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) is partnering with KT Medical, Taipei Veteran General Hospital, and Taiwan Instrument Technology Research Institute to jointly develop an ecosystem in Taiwan for manufacturing interventional cardiovascular devices as a service for innovators and device companies worldwide.

Medical wire manufactured by KT Medical: (a) fine wire with bended tip, (b) coiled wire as the driveshaft, (c) micro joining of guidewire and coiled wire, (d) design for centerless grinding of the wire tip and a photo of the ground wire tip, and (e) a catheter tip using coiling, joining, and tip grinding.
