Introduction to the event

Professor Harry Harding's Achievements in the First Year of the Second Phase: 

1.  Research Team:

Professor Harding formed a research team focusing on China-US issues, consisting of faculty and PhD student of NCCU and scholars from Academic Sinica and Soochow University.

2.  International Exchange:

Professor Harding invited Stephen Mull, Vice President of the University of Virginia, to visit NCCU and meet with the President and faculty.

Professor Harding introduced Matt Pottinger, former Deputy National Security Advisor of the United States, to the College of Social Sciences at NCCU and organized a public speech. Professor Harding invited two distinguished guests to National Chengchi University to deliver speeches.

Professor Harry Harding continues to promote NCCU's Chinese language learning program to students at the University of Virginia and encourages them to come to Taiwan to study Chinese and Taiwanese culture.

3.  Bilingual Teaching:

Professor Harding offered two courses in English and encouraged students to engage in research on China-US issues.
