Introduction to the event

(1) Currently, Dr. Su has recruited 10 graduate students, whose research topics include the nano-structure control of silicon materials, the protection of lithium metallic anodes, high-performance silicon alloy anodes, low-cost graphene electrode materials, fast-charging electrode design, and polymer composite protective materials. (2) Dr. Su has successfully won the MOST multiyear research project for new faculties: Synthesis, Structural and Electrochemical Analysis of Lithium Silicates (LixSiyOz), Pre-lithiation Strategies for Silicon Monoxide Anodes in Li-ion Batteries, and Protective Layer Development of Lithium Metal Anodes. (3) Dr. Su opened three English-based graduate courses: Semiconductor and Energy; Electrochemical Energy Storage Materials; Principles and Applications of Materials Characterization Techniques. (4) After joining in National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Dr. Su has published three journal papers as the corresponding author. The article title "Lithium Silicates in Anode Materials for Li-Ion and Li Metal Batteries" was selected as the journal cover of Batteries. Until now, Dr. Su has collected over 9,158 citations in total, showing his expertise in battery research field. He is now serving as the guest and topic editor of the international journal Batteries.
