Sung-Fu Hung's 2021 (1st year) Performance Report
Introduction to the event
We have successfully developed a carbon dioxide reduction catalyst. When the total current density is 200 mA cm-2, the total carbon dioxide reduction selectivity can reach 80.62%, which exceeds the selectivity (10%) of the electrocatalytic water reduction reaction for hydrogen production; on the other hand, we also developed a carbon dioxide reduction catalyst for methane production with a selectivity of 62% at a total current density of 220 mA cm-2. The results were published on Nat. Commun. 2021. 12, 2932. Prior to joining the Department of Applied Chemistry, Prof. Hung had a total of about 3,800 citations. During the one-year period when he joined the Department of Applied Chemistry, his total number of citations reached 7,449, showing the important role of Prof. Hung in his field.
