Program Results
Dr. Eva E Chen_Developing Beliefs Network international collaboration (Wave 1 data collection)
Introduction to the event
In the past year, my research team and I have collaborated with researchers from Boston University; University of California, Irvine; and other academic institutions in 16 countries around the world to examine how religious beliefs impact the cognitive development of young children. After working with the other research teams to finalize the study design, I have recruited and trained a local research team; translated and prepared the stimuli materials; recruited participating families; and completed the collection of the first wave of data (of three waves). This work has allowed us to also prepare for future work on religious beliefs amongst Taiwanese children.
