Dr. Wei-Ting Hsu _ Annual report for the first year
Introduction to the event
In the progress of this year, professor Wei-Ting Hsu sets the goal to establish experimental equipment in the laboratory and begins to instruct/train new graduate students’ basic research capabilities; apply for and execute a multi-year project of the Ministry of Science and Technology (Taiwan), aiming to develop a high-pressure microscope to explore and tailor the interlayer coupling and moiré effect of two-dimensional materials at cryogenic temperatures; through the opportunity of participating in invited lectures, new academic exchanges and cooperation opportunities have been established with domestic/foreign teams. Professor Hsu also offered the “Experimental Physics” course for undergraduates and the “Semiconductor Physics” course for graduate students, providing students with theory and practical experience in semiconductor physics experiments.
Professor Wei-Ting Hsu was invited to participate in the International Symposium of Taiwan Consortium of Emergent Crystalline Materials (Aug.16 to 17, 2021)
