Introduction to the event

Prof. Jenq-Neng Hwang has specialized in Smart City, Self-driving Car, 5G V2X, Machine Learning, and Artificial intelligence. Prof. Hwang has made considerable contribution to NYCU in industry-academia cooperation and international academic research. In terms of industry-academia cooperation, UW-NYCULAB ,sponsored by 華仁講座, has organized two 華仁全球講座 speeches from renowned world AI experts, and has led the Lab to conduct research projects with Quanta, World Advanced and other leading companies. On the other hand, regarding international academic research, Prof. Hwang has been providing guidance to NYCU in cultivating international research cooperation program, "Development of AI platform of Smart Drone ─ Intelligent Fight Control." Moreover, Prof. Hwang has co-planned the IEEE ICME 2020 and ACM ICMR 2021 AI Challenge event with NYCU PAIR Center, giving advice and suggestions to young teachers and Ph.D students of NYCU on their research fields and project papers.
